February 1, 20179 yr I may be misremembering this, but I believe UAL deactivated the humidifiers in the -400s because they were leaving a nasty white film on the overhead panels. Walter Meier
February 1, 20179 yr Commercial Member Yeah turns out putting Humid air in an Aluminum tube causes a whole lot of problems.
