February 16, 20179 yr I would not hold my breath for the next 6 months. They wrote in their forum that first the priority is to finish the Force line products and then start to work on other project. February 17, 20179 yr https://www.facebook.com/XPlaneOfficial/?fref=nf And you start to see again investment in VR to counter AFS2 greatest advantage at this moment. this is perfectly in line with everything that has been communicated sofar from ben, or some extent austin regarding this topic. They said they will revisit VR once the opengl situation changes. they redid it twice and occulus broke the opengl sdk twice. Considering that he wrote for "xp11 developement" it means that they start to fiddle with the vulcan api and want to integrate VR from the early beginning. I think if you can bet on one thing it is that austin doesnt care at all about any other flight simulation product or that he thinks he needs to counter it
