February 10, 20179 yr Hi all, How can I assign some keybord functions for some actions such as A/P and A/T disconect? Thanks, Christos
February 10, 20179 yr Hi Christos, I don't use FSX anymore but I believe you could do that on your Controls // Buttons and Keys // (Autopilot master on/off, for example) and choose New Assignment option.
February 11, 20179 yr Author Is there a key for Autothrottle off? How do you deactivate the A/T in the MD-11? (Except the button on the throttle sides).
February 11, 20179 yr HiIt has been a while since I flew her but you can also edit the PMDG_MD11_kbd.ini file in the PMDG folder of FSX and look (or add) for the following entry (this is an old one of mine so you may want different key combinations)…. [Throttles]Disengage ATS=Ctrl+F5Overboost Bar=Ctrl+F6GA Button=Ctrl+Shift+MI hope it helps.Jim Hodkinson
February 12, 20179 yr The standard FSX functions for AP and AT work fine. Or if you're using FSUIPC for everything, these are "AP master" and "Auto throttle arm".
February 14, 20179 yr Don't know if this helps you as I use FS9, but I programmed a FSUIPC mouse-macro to simulate the mouse click on the A/T disconnect switch on the throttles. I then assign that macro to a joystick button. A simpler method would be to follow molleh's advice. Peter Schluter
