February 18, 20179 yr I saw a documentation about the history of the 747 a few days ago and they said the -8 points out that Boeing has used a lot of technics of the 787 on the new 747 versions like eg the cabin design but also the FBW concerning stuff and the design of the wings (as examples).. In the docu Joe Sutter was interviewed and those were his words... ,
