Reading some posts in other forums it seems that this phenomena wasn't present in the previous software version ( build 28 ? ) and some folks have reverted back to that for now. I'll just stick with the current version and wait for you folks to sort it out :) Paul

December 14, 200619 yr Hello,1. I tried my TrackIR 4 today for the first time.It really gives nice views. But there is one problem: I can only look to the left and un and down, but not to the right.2. I downloaded the new software version TrackIR_4.1.029.Final.exeI got a failure message, that the file couldn't be inicialized in the right way (0xc0000005).As far as I understand I need the new software for the FSX.Can anybody help me ?Happy landingsArry
December 14, 200619 yr 1- As far as the ability to look fully around. Make sure that you are only seeing the 3 green reflectors on the Tracking screen.2 - As for the downloaded file. We have seen some file corruption in the download, when downloading the software on a system that has the Nvidia downloader application installed. If you send an email to me at the email address below, with the error, I will send you a copy of the file directly in an [email protected]
December 14, 200619 yr Hey Vince,Is it true there's a TrackIR add-on that lets you flip cockpit switches by looking at them and blinking?:-lol Sorry, couldn't resist.I'm going to buy a TrackIR in the not too distant future, but here in Canada, with taxes, it's almost $250. That's a bit o' change. Oh well. ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.
December 14, 200619 yr Not Yet..;)As for the cost in Canada, here is a canadian dealer, where it would be a little cheaper.http://www.extremegamingdevices.com/flight...ackir4_pro.html
December 15, 200619 yr Hey Vince,That's the site I looked at before.Unfortunately...$215 + $30Cdn tx + $15 P&H = $260I'm not saying it's not worth it, but as a guy with a woman and two kids, I don't have as much free cash for flightsim toys as I might like. I'll get one though. Just not this month. ;-) ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.
