Socata TBM 700 update?

Featured Replies

Shortly after the highly popular Socata TBM 700 was released (tbm700_a.zip in the file library) I thought I saw on these forums that a update was coming. Did I remember that right? Is a update for this good plane coming? Or has a update been released already and I missed it?

No update released. I imagine with the holidays and other issues, they couldn't get to the update, but hopefully they will at some point in time.-John

I would just love to find some cheerier(sp?) repaints to replace the dingy grey default paintjob. I love the plane though!http://www.graphics-free.com/animations/tr...ges/plane_6.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD

Well, I sent the modified VC model with proper gauge lighting over a month ago... I would guess that John is probably right. The holidays have kept them busy... ;)

... yes, holidays are finished and we work again on the patch in order to correct all the bugs. For my part, I'm modifying the texture of the fuselage in order to make it more precise. I'm remappe all the external model (that requires a lot of time). Here, an image which shows you the new the left side fuselage texture (not finished).http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/8666/fuselage5iv.jpgA+

Fantastic ..the textures definitely need to be double the size they are if we are to make quality paints. :9 I am waiting to hear from a TBM-700 owner to see if I can photograph his cockpit. :)

Are you also going to make the new TBM 850?Peter

Hi Guys,I would think that in order to do a EADS TBM 850 would be to chang the air file. The aircraft itself looks the same. EADS only put in a larger power plant. You also need to keep in mind, that there is a larger door that is much larger then the present FS9 aircraft. Look at the following site: http://www.socata.eads.net/web/lang/en/102...1/32100017.html Also I am try my hand a re-paints. I have one so far but, I still need to work on it. If anyone is intersted, please e-mail me .N62LM [email protected]

EADS>only put in a larger power plant.Actually, it is exactly the same PT6A-64 turbine, but not de-rated as much as the TBM700's turbine is:"The aircraft will have a more-powerful version of the Pratt & WhitneyCanada PT6A-64, which is flat rated to 700hp (520kW) on the TBM700."
