April 2, 20179 yr Hello guys, Recently, I use PMDG747V3 for Prepar3D (Version 3.4.22) for some long flight. It crashes approximately every 8 hours. Base on the system record, the Error module always be KernelBase.dll and today it shows ntdll.dll. I tried to reinstall 747 several times but it didn't work. Also, I tried Prepar3D 3.3.5 and 3.4.18 but the problem remaining. My 747v3 product is updated by PMDG operation center. What's more, After I uninstall my PMDG747V3 and fly a long flight using PMDG777, everything goes well no matter how long I fly. I wonder if anyone have encountered this problem and have already got solutions can help me deal with this. Thanks all! April 2, 20179 yr Check out the AVSIM CTD Guide (see link in my signature) regarding possible fixes for the kernelbase.dll and ntdll.dll errors. For the kernelbase.dll error, everyone has fixed it by replacing a corrupted user profile (see page 21 of the guide). The ntdll.dll indicates your settings are too high or your overclock (if any) CPU voltage is too high or too low. Those are the most common causes. April 2, 20179 yr I don't see it in the list, but, have you ever used Fspassengers in your sim? Usually the ntdll.dll its caused by FSP. And curiously, always happen when flying to the west. Unnistall and reinstall all the Microsoft visual C++ and try again Michael Menéndez
April 2, 20179 yr Uninstalling the vc++ and reinstalling didn't do the trick for me atm. Uninstalling fspassengers did the trick for me I just completed an 11 hour flight from Flytampa EHAM to FSDT KIAH without any errors at all in the 747. After much experimentation I was getting ready to do a reinstall before finding that it was Mytraffic 6 that was crashing my P3Dv4 constantly when flying the Queen of the Skies, with similar errors. Uninstalling it stopped the CTDs. I now use Ultimate Traffic Live and it seems to work OK. Lon Duncombe

My traffic addon only be used for vPilot model matching. Thanks!

April 11, 20179 yr I don't know what you mean by "The CTD guide does't work for me?" Does that mean you didn't try anything recommended in the guide, or does that mean you tried everything recommended? It is obvious reinstalling the OS hasn't fixed it... no one would expect that to work. That is like burning down your house because the floors need cleaning. You will have a better chance of resolving your problem if you try to troubleshoot the problem. A kernel is the heart of the OS and normal software interaction is not directly with it but drivers do.
