Your welcome. Also, in the NGX, the 2156, on the tankers digital fuel meter, is in gallons (which I did not initially realise) and delivers the seven tonnes requested. I already had one tonne in the aircraft, so there was actually eight on board. Can't fault it it's pretty darned good! Nice thing is that you can request tonnes, pounds, percent etc. 😀

God I wish everything could be done in KG! All this Tonnes (imperial and metric) Gallons, pounds is a royal pain in the behind!

Dash, Pmdg, Aerosoft allow you to select KG as your preferred option, but other applications like GSX refuses to use KG, it's infuriating and frustrating!

As has been stated in the above post on page 1 of this topic, when 'tonnes' are required by the likes of GSX, simply use your KG number, since 1000 kg = 1 tonne. So if you require say 4500 kg of fuel then just tell GSX "4.5 tonnes"

Yes, and believe it or not, in the real world, pilots give the figure to mechanic, either in metric tons (which as you specified, the amount in KGS divided by 1000 and rounded) or pounds. (1 pound = 2.2 kilos)

Besides, aircraft gauges in refueling panel on heavies, wouldn't tell you the quantity down to the single kilogram.

Realistically, refueling is either 10.5 or 10.6 tons, not 10.345 or 10.876

Same with figures in pounds. They are rounded to the closest hundred. "Mechanic, we need 25600 pounds of fuel", NOT "Mechanic, we need 25543 pounds of fuel", because he wouldn't be able to guarantee that exact amount of fuel.

And of course, with small piston aircraft you'd be talking gallons and liters. MCE doesn't bother with these
