Upgraded to v2.9. When I press "/" the spoilers extend and immediately retract. If I use the mouse to toggle the switch on the panel, spoilers work as expected.

I don't recall that the earlier version ignored the "/" but I may be mistaken.

I think I have read about problems with earlier versions of the L35A spoiler here.

Can you try if assigning a different key helps? If yes, maybe there is a double assignment somewhere?

Check the manual - there is a new spoiler key - don't know it off the top of my head...

It was set in 2.8 when we started using all the G1000 key mappings...

Current v2.9 is now  "G1000_MFD_SOFTKEY6" = Spoiler Switch (Default switch is disabled. There is no arming as well.)

Another question - sine Pete Dowson is on holiday perhaps someone here has done this - 

 

I use FSUIPC exclusively to control my yoke/rudder/Throttle/etc. I have profiles set up for various types of a/c.

I know I can assign the spoiler to the g1000 and save it to the PROFILE but that would then make it the assignment for ALL my twin engine jets - which is not what I want.

 

Is there a way, either with the direct assignment or one of the LUA scripts to make that assignment specific to the aircraft not the profile?

Hi Vic,

It's a radio box on your FSUIPC (axis/button/key) setup "aircraft specific" or something like that - you can name the profile whatever "FSWlear" and then the control is only assigned when using that specific aircraft... That's the way I did it... You seemed to know that by your initial post - so does that answer your question ???

Or use my keycontral modifications. While requiring a bit of an update for the autopilot switches for 2.9, the spoiler key assignment will always work.
