We are still in the process of testing these options and nothing is confirmed, but stay tuned to find out more when information is made available!"

The method for rendering gauges in the sim has (thankfully) been transitioned away from GDI to Direct3d.  That's a huge boon for performance (and is likely a large contributor to the shift towards the GPU DTG has cited).

Does this mean that the gauges of a PMDG would no longer have such a high impact on frames?

Most likely. When (and IF - and that's a big 'if') PMDG decides to support FSW?

Most likely that means that the gauges of the FSLabs A320-x would no longer have such a high impact.
