June 27, 20178 yr Quick question, is Fsimstudios CYYC compatible with FSX SE, or am I to assume yes on recent addon releases if it says for FSX? Thanks. Rick Hobbs

Who knows, it's not listed under FSX-Steam sceneries on Simmarket, and it says FSX SP2 or Acceleration. Steam is based on Acceleration pack, but some things are different. You should probably ask in their forums Zeljko Budovic
June 28, 20178 yr Yes it works in FSX-SE. You also need to download SODE if you haven't already to install this addon. That's what it looks for when installing. The quality of the airport is quite good and so are framerates. Its not at at the same level as some of the higher end airports though so don't expect to see flytampa level of detail but overall a very nice airport upgrade from default for Calgary
June 28, 20178 yr Commercial Member Forgive me if you already know this... If they haven't updated their installer, you may find when running the installer that it doesn't list FSX:SE isn't listed as a choice. If this happens, and you never had the FSX Disk version installed on your hard drive (even if it was uninstalled as the scenery installer might still see it if the associated registry entries still exist), the installer might only give you the option to install to FSX, but if you check the path it will be going to the location of the Steam version and it will work out just fine. I mention this because I've seen a number of people left scratching their heads when running an installer that wasn't designed to with both FSX and FSX:SE in mind. Best wishes.
