Hi all

I've purchased the NGX today but the link PMDG have sent me to download the installer just takes me to a "page not found HTTP 404" error

I've disabled AV and antimalware apps and tries several different browsers to no avail.

Anyone any ideas?

It's probably going up now or about to go online. Wait 10-15 mins and try again.

FYI: PMDG require full names in the forum

I just downloaded the new P3d V4 installers with no problems.

I don't understand what you mean regarding "full names"?

He means that each post required to have the real name (first and last) under the post. You cna either put it manually in each post or just add it on your signature.

you need  to post  your  full name  to  each of  your post  either  by  typing  it  in every  time  or  put  it in your  signature  block  which than  you  dont  have  to worry  about .  its  per the  pmdg  rules  of the forum

It's over 90 minutes since I was sent the link but it's still not working

just  go  to  your  account   at pmdg    the  download  and  all  your other  info  key  etc  will be  there

You are correct, but that is not the issue.

I simply cannot download the installer. It doesn't matter whether I use the link sent to me via email, or the link in my account page - both result in a "page not found error"

Open a support ticket and talk to PMDG directly, something might have gone wrong with your account.

I have done. They requested a copy of my hosts file, which I have sent them.

Since my install of Win7 x64 is very recent, the file has not been modified in any way, so I cannot see that this will assist them.

I really don't know why the installers shouldn't be available via a public link but installable only with a valid username/password/serial combination.

is  this  the  first  addon  you have  purchased  from pmdg?

I am having the same problem with PMDG 737NGX Base Package for FSX "page not found HTTP 404" error. Had no problems downloading the other updates ?

Just downloaded it, all fine here. Where are you both located? Possible Amazon server issues in your area
