Motion Effect in PMDG 737

Featured Replies

Hi!

Im mostly flying the 737 with Chaseplane. What settings in the Motion Effect is best for the most realistic feeling?

I'm afraid 1000 minds, 1000 opinions.

With Chaseplane, you can download community cams I believe, so get some and see if you like it, and then you can as well tweak it to *your* liking.

Yeah i get that. Just wanted to plug and play as i have been dealing more with setting up stuff than actually flying.

I had the same problem with CP. It is why I moved back to my old trusty EZDOK, which is now 2.5 and I am VERY happy with it with the NGX. Flying right now actually.

And those in CP *are* plug and play. Really doesn't get more plug and play than that.

Im still looking for some settings. I've tried changing some stuff but i dont really get that 'real flying' feeling.

So im happy if someone could post their Motions effect settings they use while flying the 737.

Yeah, same for me.

Most people don't change their motion settings apparently.

well wind is set to 0 by default turn that to around 2/3 up you will not get more movement that having if it 1/2 up unless the sim calls for it. But it does make in flight far better than the default 0

Then you can use a global setting to over do the effects to your liking. But try just wind first.

I tried CP and a friend's PC. I will never give up Ezdok, just for the motion effects alone.

wind? But.. there are no winds in the 737 I thought.. right? at least, that was the idea of the "effect"?

I will try, thanks!

Its wind on the aircraft, default is 0 so you when you turn that up the wind in the air effects the aircraft. Put another way the aircraft moves around a little all the time.
