Norway Part II

Featured Replies

This is the second flight for Norway. It will take us much further north, to the Lofoten Islands.

We depart from Bodø, follow the Lofoten Islands with a couple of landings there until we reach Andøya. From here we turn south again to land at Eveness. Next stop will be Bardufoss. Then we will leave Norway and head to Kiruna, Sweden, our destination for today.

Details of the flight and some information about points of interest enroute can be found HERE.

Flight Plan is HERE

Recommended Scenery: Orbx Norway

In case you have Hendrik Nielsen's Shipping AI installed be sure to turn it on. There are many ships and boats of all typs and sizes to be found around Norway's coast and in it's fjords.

The flight covers about 400 NM with six intermediate landings, so we should cruise with around 250 KIAS in order to land at Kiruna before dark.

If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks!

Recommend that you set your initial clock to 1745 in local time to account for flight time and the usual "faffing about" time. This way we will arrive at Kiruna shortly before dusk.

Don't you start! There's enough angst with that other guy.
