ENVTEX and ASCA

Well starting the additional programs isn't the problem for me as a batch file pretty much takes care of that in one click.

However, I am concerned about the additional processing that may take away from the smoothness of the sim as the programs compete for CPU time. So it is the negative performance impact that can be an issue for some.

Most, including myself overcome this running on a networked PC. I realise not all can do that, but it is the best solution. As long as you run apps like ASP4 and ASCA via a wired connection, it works very well.

Hi Folks,

Quick Question - when I have all the settings set and ENTEX loaded into ASCA - is this a one time deal - meaning all the texture variants are copied over and ASCA just picks the best - - - or do I need to go through ENVTEX and select the textures I want each time I want them changed ???

Thanks...

Regards,

Scott

Is that the default Orbx lighting or are you using any enhancements? I ask because my highways seem to have a deep orange glow that I do not see in your pic, and would like to get rid of.

Did you see the add-on (free) utility that Orbyx offers for adjusting the lights? I noticed exactly what you stated the other night, I adjusted the freeway orange lights to be smaller and less in color. Haven't night flown to check yet but that is supposedly what the free light utility is for.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
