Bonaire is killer (used to dive there) and it would be fun to run some charter flights in, like, a mooney or the Dreamfleat Baron. But I don't have any answers for you (grin) - and we definately need SOMETHING - default tropical islands in FS9 are REALLY flat and boring. Even Hawaii with a really good mesh is pretty dull...

I have the Flight 1 Islands of the West Indies and really enjoy it. I had recently gone on a cruise and hopped around the islands we visited. It is a fun package.Scott

Antilles2004 here in the library is great.antilles2004int.zipJim

Sensational stuff, all freeware. And you'll enjoy John Young's San Juan for Puerto Rico.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

The Hawaii I have (9.8m FS Genesis) is stunning and everything else but "dull"...Andreas

Don't miss this one, just great and it's freeware !http://www.jg-laurent.com/en/Hope you like it.Best regards,

I second the Antilles scenery. As far as Christians stuff goes, its fine, but the objects are too bright and cartoonish. I think he takes a lot of liberties with objects also, not so much accurate as it is eye candy. IMHO as far as scenery design goes, less is more. Just my opinion, everything by him i have tried is no longer on my HD. I really like the Antilles package though.Hornit

I downloaded the Antilles scenery. It calls for the Nova and Nova gold textures, but the web site is closed down. Any one know were I can find these. Thanks, Bob

I have the FSGen mesh for Hawaii too, but frankly it's just not enough to make it feel like hawaii - sure, the valleys in maui are nice and intricate, but, (for instance) I've flown over the big island many times, and there's just no sense of the variations - the black of the lavafields, the incredible wierdness of the craters, etc... Not suggesting this should be free or anything, just saying that I think Hawaii - like alaska - is an area that needs 'the full treatment' to get right. Mesh alone doesn't really do it.

Howdy,Re: Puerto Rico: look for Juan Pizarro's Puerto Rico Enhancements 2004 (version 3). Contains "major roads, land class, utility lines (when it works), some bridges, redefined coast line, surrounding islands, Vieques and Culebras and redefined lagoons."Jorge Machado's Arecibo Observatory (version 1.1) is also a keeper.FS Genesis have an excellent freeware 38.2m Mesh for PR available. The Islands of the West Indies series (now released in one volume) is definately worth getting (IMO, of course :-lol ). It's not photoreal, but rather "painterly" or "impressionistic"; you either love it ... or not :-)
