Concorde X Crashes P3D

Recommended Posts

I recently got the Concorde X by FlighttSImLabs, however, the concorde doesn't wanna load.

After reaching 100% of loading, P3D crashes.

I've installed the Civa INS, and reinstalled and installed the Concorde numerous times.

I've rebooted the computer when uninstalling and reinstalling.

However, the game still crashes.

I did an experiment where i put the FSL_ConcX.dll in my documents folder, then the Concorde loaded, but of course, there were no gauge textures.

So i suspect that the FSL_ConcX.dll is corrupted??

I'm not too sure, but if i could get a response that would be great.

Aaron

(Edit)

I loaded the Piper Cub then loaded Concorde and Concorde loaded, but only stayed loaded for 2 seconds.

Then, the game crashed.

Have you asked FSL if it is compatible?

Are you running WIndows 10?  If so, there are at least three recent automatic WIndows updates that all contain a Microsoft bug that will cause that to happen...KB4038788, KB4040724, and KB4041676.  There are several threads here in this forum and in the LM forums on the topic.

This topic on the FSL Concorde subforum supplies the answer. Bob is right, a Windows update has caused it. The solution was actually posted here on AvSim.

I have KB4038788 which i tried to uninstall, however, the control panel told me to restart the computer, so I did.

However, when booting the computer, the computer started to update.

How do I bypass this?

RESEOLVED:

Updates like KB4038788, KB4040724, and KB4041676 did indeed crash the game. So I uninstalled these updates.
