November 2, 20178 yr Sort of a small showcase of the XP G1000 beta release. It is a default avionics package in the Cessna 172 and Cirrus Jet. What I really like about these avionics is the ability to update the navdata as it is tied to default database. The displays are also very very clear, even at further distances. It's by no means a fully featured G1000 (not as good as Flight1 king air in P3D for example), but for default package I was able to navigate from PSP to ONT with the GPS guiding the avionics. Routing was KPSP CATH1 PSP V388 PDZ KONT. I wasn't able to input airways but I think I read there is a way or the feature is coming.
