November 21, 20178 yr My specs are similar to OP (see below) except 4790K. My MB is 1150 socket so CPU upgrade would require MB upgrade. I currently have a 32" Samsung 60hz at 1920 x 1080. I may go to a 40" 4K in the future. Would a 1080ti improve P3Dv4.1 substantially for me with current CPU until I'm ready for a bigger upgrade? 1080 not enough? Thanks!
