How do I show that please, which software shows it, or where in windows is it ?

that picture is from corsair link, the software that comes with the aio cooler

CPU-Z is the best, it will show the core speeds and also core temps reported by your Intel chips.

And please run a bench test using CPU-Z.

Thanks,

anyways does that help ?

Well done for running the tests, when you told me your temps I was surprised and I thought how is it running at 5.2

You are overclocked at 4.7Ghz, my 6700k is running at same speed.

To make the i7 8700k run at 5.0Ghz you need to cool it down a lot more to make it stable, water cooling is recommended and sometimes it is necessary to delid it to replace the cheap thermal paste applied by Intel.

In any case you have an amazing system, I sure you will enjoy PD3V4 very much so.

Thanks for sharing.

So, not 5.2GHz but rather 4.7GHz? Who cares, this makes the notion "almost doubled the performance" even more interesting to me running a 3770K with 4.5GHz.

BTW: might be that you still have those turbo steps active and that your CPU manages to increase the clock on a single core to 5.2GHz for certain situations. That might explain the 5.2GHz readout...
