December 10, 20178 yr I'm looking at recording some in-flight video and am wondering which software I should consider using. At the moment I'm looking at Nvidia shadowplay, or is there some other software I should consider? Freeware is the important bit I guess Thanks fellas. December 11, 20178 yr I used OBS Studio for capturing once. It's Open Source and free. https://obsproject.com/ but took me some time to get used to it (and I am afraid I forgot it). You can use Open Shot for editing (e.g. cutting) http://www.openshot.org/download/ Open Source as well. I found both suggested somewhere in a forum. Shadowplay is certainly excellent beyond anything I can imagine, however, it relies on Geforce Experience which relies on me to a login at Nvidia's which I refuse as there are already enough address spammers.
