Neuroflight Cessna F406

Featured Replies

Hey everyone. I hope those who celebrated Easter had a nice meal with your families. Last year I purchased the Neuroflight Reims 406 Cessna. I was not real happy then with the plane. Well I noticed version 3.5 is out now. Mine was version 1.0. I contacted Roger-Alain Jedikian via E-mail yesterday because my login and passwords would not work to download the new version. Not only is he in Paris on the other side of the world, he got back to me right away. The new version uses an installer that will only work with WinXP. I have Win2000pro. He actually built me a custom installer, on Easter yet, and got it back to me today. Not only is the plane much improved, the service I received just blew me away. I wanted to share my experience here as others may have not looked at this aircraft as of yet. I will put the web address at the end of this post. Thanks everyone. Have a great night. http://www.neuroflight.com

ive been meaning to purchase that! thanks for the link. Great customer service is always a plus. Just bought her and going to take her for a spin. the VC looks good and the night lighting looks amazing!

I'm glad to see this post and that you are happy with the current version of the F406. I reviewed this aircraft last year and was impressed with Roger-Alain's continued improvement of the model (there were a couple of updates during the course of the review). He is truly one of the gentlemen in this industry and I do love the visuals, panel and soundset used for this aircraft, a very good simulation of the real aircraft. If you haven't checked it out yet I highly recommend it too and he recently released a free scenery package of Courchevel, a truly sloped runway in the French Alps. Quite a challenge to land on and what a thrill to take off from ;).Zane

Zane, I agree 100% Just got the 406 this afternoon. really fine and Roger-Alain was most gracious. He personally sent me the address for the Zipped download. In another forum somewhere- I think the Neuroflight Forum actually--, there was mention last year of the kinda dark cockpit.. it's still there.. my only--well not complaint. my wish for a change..

can someone tell me how to turn the night lighting on in the VC? I can only figure out how to do it by pressing the L button

Roger-Alain has to be one of the "promptest" email respondents in the flightsim community. Thanks for the heads up. Gonna roll this bird out of the hangar again.ricardo

There was also an issue with upgrading from version 1 as he was trying to "counterstrike" hackers. his site was down for a bit but now back in business.Yes, it is surprising to see that he handles very promptly the emails that he receives.

is there any way to turn on the backlight in the VC without turning on the landing lights? I really hate that!!!

Hey Alex. That was the one thing I was not content with myself. The back lighting is tied to the landing lights. It was in the older versions as well. I didn't have a chance to contact Roger yet. If you do before I get a chance,I would love to know if there is a fix. He should get back to you quickly, depending on what time it is in Paris.
