How much is too much

Featured Replies

I like both nice model and realism, sometimes I cant get both so have to make do. An example of this is I recently bought the CLS A340-600 and am quite satisfied with it although I would have preferred a more complete systems simulation. If a fully modeled (systems) A346 would be made I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was priced similarly to the PMDG 744. If it was priced like the Ariane NG's then I'm not so sure. My most expensive add on is also the PMDG 744 especially if you include the 747F in the price and yes I think the price is fair. In this case both model and systems are great as well as custumer support. The same can be said of Flight 1 products,Level D Simulations and a few others. I hate the blocks system implemented by Captasin sim. I want a complete simulation like their 727,707,F104, and C130 which I own. The block system is the only reason I'm still flying Project opensky 757 instead(which is not bad by the way especially merged to the LDS panel).

I love these kind of discussions.Personally, I don't think the word fair should be used since no one is forced to buy anything. If your paying more than you want to than shame on you.I wonder how people that think payware is too expensive ever bought bottled water at more than a $1.I look at it like this. I bought the PMDG 747 a while back. I can't even count how many hours I've spent using it (I probably wouldn't want to know). But I know it's a lot and I know it has cost me pennies per hour of enjoyment.Just my $.02 (I hope that's not too much).

And I think that pretty much sums up this discussion (as it has the previous 3,245 times over the last ten years). With that, I am locking this thread.
