February 21, 20188 yr I am enroute from PANC to KSAN with the MD82, long flight. I look at my PROG page, and it showing a fuel remaining that is significantly what I have left. Anyone see anything im doing wrong? https://ibb.co/hCnbXchttps://ibb.co/cveqschttps://ibb.co/crZekx Nick Hesler

As the FMS does not take the current FOB into account it relies solely on calculated fuel based off what you entered before departure. February 21, 20188 yr Author This is how my pref init page looks. I did reenter the fuel/sched to what was current to see if it reset itself, but it did not solve the problem https://ibb.co/gbWydH Nick Hesler

I know this works, I did it earlier today while I was fiddling with numbers in flight. Brian Thibodeaux | B747-400/8, C-130 Flight Engineer, CFI, Type Rated: BE190, DC-9 (MD-80), B747-400 My Liveries
February 21, 20188 yr Nick, did you happen to reload the sim at any point or was it a continuous flight?

February 21, 20188 yr Author What is seems like the bug was that whenever I entered in the fuel to pref init, it wouldnt go down with the actual fuel amount, so the FMS kept thinking it had that amount of fuel I entered. Nick Hesler

February 21, 20188 yr Commercial Member Have you increased your fuel in tanks while already in flight maybe? Either via the FS Fuel panel or Maddog Reload cfg and ZFW function? Michele Galmozzi
February 21, 20188 yr Author Nope, i loaded in, checked the percent in the tanks with the FS loading option, but didnt change anything and hit cancel. Nick Hesler

February 21, 20188 yr In the first screenshot the fuel flow for both engines are showing zero too. Is this maybe something related to having unlimited fuel selected in the sim? Brian W KPAE
February 24, 20188 yr Author I think i might have uncovered why the fuel prog thing is happening. I am flying now and I noticed my fuel cutoff switches below the throttles are off, but the engines are still running. Note how it says fuel flow 0 as well as the first post. https://imgur.com/a/wLW2O I put the fuel switches back to on, and the fuel flow went to normal. Will update after landing if anything else happens. Nick Hesler
