Aerosoft Diamond DA20-100 'Katana' 4X?

Recommended Posts

Just a quick question for the more advanced panel editors on here. Have any off you guys taken on the challenge of using these new V2 Rxp 530 units with the Aerosoft Diamond DA20-100 'Katana' 4X? I fell in love with that aircraft when I first purchased it so many years ago for FSX, having it in P3D with a working RXP 530 would be a blessing... However it's coding is far to complicated for my rookie panel editing "skills".

Any thoughts?

I don't have that aircraft but if you could post the contents of the panel.cfg I could take a stab at it.

I have it from FSX - that was a amazing aircraft.  Does it even load in P3D Edit:

It loads... but I can't get the RXP auto replace going, and changing the panel.cfg doesn't seem to do anything.

Here's the lines from the vcockpit00

//gauge46=fs9gps!gps_500,                 1244,   12,  790, 742
gauge47=rxpGNS2!GNS_530_1,                  1245, 1140,  790, 570

I added the slash marks to get rid of the fs gps... but doing this did nothing.

Same thing here Ryan, I can select the RXP version in the Avionics Swapper panel, however it doesn't replace the default GPS. I've also tried editing it manually with the same result. That is why I was wondering if anyone had an idea regarding where externally, outside the main P3D directory, the aircraft might be storing the selected panel.cfg files... :/

You might want to cross check the RXP log files, especially the rxpGNS_menu.dll.log for any additional information.
