in the link above you can see my frustration, I cant figure out how to get rid of that ugly thing hanging off the vertical stablizer of the PMDG 737 800 WL. I couldnt figure out how to insert the picture to this post. Sorry, just use the link above.

What is the default aircraft in your sim?

That is a flight test object.

You select it on or off through the "FMS." Go to PMDG SETUP/AIRCRAFT. On page 5 (AIRFRAME) you'll see on yours the "FLIGHT TEST PACKAGE" is checked. Uncheck it to make the flight test drogue go away. See page 0.00.75 in the Introduction and Use manual for a discription.

For what it's worth - and I appreciate Dan and Herman's additions, as they're also correct - I must mention that my suggestion needs to be addressed first. If not, the other two won't matter, as the drogue will be stuck there, no matter what option is selected.

The Default aircraft in my sim is PMDG's 737-800wl Delta with FSFX immersion installed.

Refer to the Introduction document for the NGX, do not use a PMDG aircraft as your default.  All is explained there.
