ntdll.dll ERROR CTD - sick of it

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am now feeling very tired of all the different errors that occur now days. My new frustration is CTD with the ntdll.dll, today with the PMDG 777. I have previously completely reinstalled P3D v.3, the aircrafts, reformatted windows 10, etc.

Can anyone help me?!

Speaking from an FSX (sorry about that) standpoint, this is caused by too much going on in your Sim compared to what your computer system is capable of.  On my weak system, I would get that CTD error  just by trying to load Rob Richardson's new F-9 Cougar with Rob's fantastic paint jobs on it.  Once someone did some repaints for it that were not quite so intensive, it loaded and flew fine.

It will be a matter of adjusting some sliders in your settings until the problem resolves itself.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

It sounds like your Dll got boogered.  Try the following link and follow the repair suggestions. Might help you.

Yep, that's the best bet!

System Specs:  I9-13900KF, NVIDIA 4070TI, Quest 3, Multiple Displays, Lots of TERRIFIC friends, 3 cats, and a wonderfully stubborn wife.

An unstable overclock or hyperthreading ON in Bios can also cause the ntdll.dll error.

For the beginning I would delete the Shaders and prepar3d.cfg. Sometimes this helps to eliminate the error.

Regards,

Chris
