I just bought the thing online after hearing some raving about it. It does nothing, fs9.1 and yes I have the latest version. By the way what is the thing with their site, the forums etc have gone.Beginning to wish I hadn't bought it now.Are there any secrets I should know to get it working.Regards Pete

hi Pete,Serge Baye provides terrific support;drop him an email and I am sure he will answer the same [email protected], ACamera is IMO one of the best addons for FS9 and I can't imagine flying without it.just make sure you are following the readme explanations.regards,David

I'm with David, AC is a must have for me and the first thing I install after a reformat. Didn't even know they had any forums, LOLBTW check the tabs at the top and under options there is an Active Camera area and make sure you have the internal/external view clicked.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/tfbeta.jpg

Best, Michael

Pete,If I were you, I would figure out what it can do... spend some time with it.BTW, do you have the head latency set? I forget the menu path for it. and then try flying in VC mode. Then try different camera angles for replays at one of you fav airport sceneries.Manny

Hi :)Thanks for the replies. Got it going :-beerchug I didn't have the internal/external view selected. It is a fantastic addon. Now I have the fun ahead of me creating my own views for my fav aircraft. Thanks heapsRegards Pete

Now in VC Mode, In the numeric keypad, do the <-- and --> and up arrow and down arrow keys to position youself better. With that head latency.... Its a new feeling.:)

The head latency is very good, especially as I like to mess around with the older aircraft. Thanks ... it has really made a difference.Regards Pete

I had read it before but I missed the checks on internal/external views.Regards Pete

Where is the active Camera's forum? Anyone knows? After reading this thread I went and updated my Active Camera with the latest upgrade 2.1. But it again changed its defaults. I hate it when that happens. In the "Approach view", I had that telephoto view. I have lost that now. That was the best part of Active Camera and now its gone.If I simply uninstall the 2.1 patch, would it go back to what I had before? or Do I have to uninstall and reinstall Active camera and then the AC 9.1 patch?Any help?Manny

You did?So then you missed Section 3.1 that states: Internal Pilot View must be checked (CTRL + F11)Or Secton 4.0 -- the very first lineOr section 7.0 that cleary stats in bold text:***Important: Internal Pilot View must be enabled***The Manual is Very Fine indeed. It deserved to be read before stating:"It does nothing"...Shad
