June 23, 200619 yr Read herehttp://www.lesaffaires.com/fr/aujourdhui/d...810&Recherche=1and visit CAE's portal herewww.cae.comFor those who don't make the slightest idea about what CAE is, it is simply the most important worldwide full flightsim manufacturer. Most trainning centers around the world have expensive Level D CAE simulators for various fleets. It's still early to know exactly what they're up to, but it would be great to have a PC-based airliner "game" from CAE...

June 23, 200619 yr That would be wonderful, but I have to wonder if this market would represent enough potential for them. They are accostum to making megabucks in a megabuck market. Not relatively low priced PC software.Rob

June 23, 200619 yr I would imagine if they offered a personal version of their sim it would be at least 30% more expensive than Elite's offerings. Dr Zane Gard Sr Staff Reviewer AVSIM Private Pilot ASEL since 1986 IFR 2010 AOPA 00915027 American Mensa 100314888
June 23, 200619 yr You think MS didn't make mega buck from FS9? They are top notch in aircraft and systems modeling, I doubt they can bring in realistic offline ATC. They might come up with a simulator with no traffic and ATC at all and let the best of in the trade (UT and RC) to provide them.
