TinMouse II V1 Patch 1

Featured Replies

Hi Bob.I just installed the patch. When I started the plane there was a loud screeching sound in the cockpit that I could not shut off. I listened to all of the wav files and identified it as rp732_400.wav. The patch readme says something about this file which I did not understand. It says "Avionics sounds wav file reinstated - swap rp732_400hz for silent rp732_400hz to silence". I see there is a wav file called Silent rp732_400Hz. Was the intent to replace the rp732_400.wav with the Silent rp732_400Hz.wav file? If so the old file is still there. I renamed it as orig_rp732_400.wav. That silenced the screeching sound. Please advise. Regards, Bob.

>When I started the plane>there was a loud screeching sound in the cockpit that I could>not shut off.I had the same problem and used your solution of renaming the guilty .wav file - which has cured the problem. Everything else seems to be working correctly. Otherwise, it's a fantastic panel and I'm really pleased with it. Thanks to all concerned.Ian

>When I started the plane>there was a loud screeching sound in the cockpit that I could>not shut off. Isn't that the Avionics cooling? I think it should be there but if you prefer getting rid of it, you can rename the file as you did.I had another problem though. When I started the plane, the center and right tank were empty. I noticed it after having started the APU. I went to the fuel menu and put fuel in the right tank but when I went back to the plane, I saw the tank droping the fuel again. After starting the engines, the refueling worked though. Another thing is that I lost my primary flight instruments, Artificial Horizon, HSI and VS indicator didn't work wven though all electrics and hydraulics were switched on. Did I miss something? Before the patch they were working OK.And last question, the WX radar is a dummy, right?

Bob, does file b732adv.gau stay in the fs9aircraftfsfsconvpanel.b732adv folder or does it go in the gauges folder in the FS9 Root directory? Thanks,Bill
