July 23, 20187 yr We are looking at getting rid of most "unofficial" forums as those developers have their own respective support forum or the official support forum is hosted on another website similar to AVSIM's. If they have no support forum, like Carenado, we will keep it as we feel it is important for members to have a forum to discuss a product and get assistance directly from the developer or user-to-user. Members can still ask questions about any product in the appropriate simulator forum (i.e., FSX, P3D, XP11) hosted at AVSIM. As many of you old-timers recall, in the past, many members have done that and our moderators have had to move the topic to the appropriate unofficial support forum so discussions about a product are in one location. There is no reason to have these unofficial support forums if the discussions are in several different forums. It is getting very convoluted with all of these "unofficial" commercial forums and that makes it difficult for our moderators to moderate. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
