June 14, 200520 yr That's not any more weird than a Beech something or other aircraft on "finals"! Finals are college exams. Aircraft do not do "finals", they make a "final" approach. ;-) (That's always bugged me when simmers say they are on "finals").Darrell
June 14, 200520 yr Maybe they're making calls for multiple aircraft in formation and think it's plural? Hehe.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. June 14, 200520 yr Hey...I represent that remark! In the RAPCON, the RFC position ("the pit") was called finals, as in, "tough luck sucker, you got finals"!bt
