flight disappeared from flightradar24. haven't heard why or what's going on.

3:48 EDT Expected to attempt landing within  a few minutes now.  Was heavily loaded with fuel at takeoff.

Down safely just now.  Looked routine.  Appeared tires on the left wing strut were affected.

I saw that picture and at first thought he'd already been injured in a crash!  🙂

There's no fuel dump on a G-IV, so they have to fly around and burn it off to get the weight down and land on flat tires.  Not a major thing worthy of three hours of teeth-knashing media cluelessness (unless you're the guy paying the bill to fix the strut afterwards...)

Whoa---G-IV does not have full dump option.  I thought all these corporate planes are super high tech...and have all these features...especially if a jet is doing trans-Atlantic crossing originally.
