Caution Light when starting engines

Featured Replies

When I start the engines a caution light comes on and won't go away. Why would this happen?

Old panel state with a newer build. Delete your existing panel states and create new ones.

I used the short panel state.

Again - old panel state with a newer build. Please delete the state and rebuild one and it will go away.

Same here. Creating a new panel state fixed it, but my spoilers are still not completely deploying after touchdown... they only go into flight detend mode.

This is usually more of an issue with an axis assignment or something similar.

The spoilers are not assigned to an axle.

Can I use the default state to create a cold/dark state and save? Also where is the panel state folder?

Yes this is what we recommend. Start with the default state and set the panel the way you want and save it.

Location of panel state is "{SIM}\PMDG\PMDG 747 QOTS II\PanelState"

I've been getting the caution with the default cold and dark state, it goes away after all four engines are running and hydraulics are set to auto though.

So i did this like you said and everything has been fine for a couple weeks. I just installed a new livery and it came with a config file. I installed the livery with the operation center and I put the config file in {SIM}\PMDG\PMDG 747 QOTS II\AIRCRAFT. Now I get a message saying fmc message when pressing recall. Why is this happening? Should I make a new panel state form the default one again? Did I install the livery config file right?

Refer to the FCOM.  FMC MESSAGE literally means there is a message for you on the CDU scratchpad.

But there isn’t a message on the CDU scratchpad. No meessage anywhere on the fmc.
