Featured Replies

Hi all,

pls test if you have the same problems with your sim:

1. Caution not resetable

2. See screenshot

Always make new panel states with updates.

Well, I'm using the default here but now I've got the problem that Seatbelts OFF and Pass signs ON are both showing. Something which is impossible.

In other words, seatbelts are on but shown off on the eicas.

Did you uninstall download the new 744 and then install the 744 then the 748. What you’re seeing is literally impossible unless you’re using old data.

Delete all the panel states in the 747 panel state folder without the simulator running.  Next time you load the 747, it will create a new default panel state.  Create your custom panel state from that.

hey Kyle, I noticed the captains pfd goes black (not brightness related) when i use the SHORT panel state. For reference, I uninstalled from the control panel, deleted PMDG 747 root folder, all sim objects (in p3d root and AppData) then re-installed with antivirus and firewall off.

No, but it sounds like your old panel state didn't get deleted when you uninstalled, so the reinstall left them in place (so you have old states).

Never said you couldn't, but what you're seeing is caused by an old / out-of-date panel config. Close the sim. Delete all your configs (if you want them back, run the newest installer and select REPAIR). Try again.

Strange, I could have sworn I deleted the whole QOTS II folder from P3D root
