October 3, 20187 yr Exactly what the Title Says, I was flying with the 748 as polar air with the GE's, and the aircraft had the same toga sound as the 744 in the cockpit, but when I would change view to the outside, it would sound like a totally different airplane. What is wrong? Andrew Jones
October 3, 20187 yr I don't think Boeing changed the throttle on the -8. The logic behind maybe; but not the actual buttons. Safe & smooth flying, Clarke Ramsey

Servos are still servos, and the pedestal is largely the same, so servos within it will sound pretty similar. The door closing on an M3 is gonna sound like the door closing on a 330, too. It seems as if he is referring to the sounds of the engines. October 3, 20187 yr The engines shouldn't sound like the engines of a 747-400 since the engines are that of the 787. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
October 3, 20187 yr Author @Captain KevinExactly what I'm saying. My 744 is out of date, and that might be affecting it. But my 748 is up to date. Maybe the 744 has files that exclude the engine sounds of the 744 from the 748.
October 3, 20187 yr Author the engines don't sound like 747-8 engines, they sound like the old 744 ones.

October 5, 20187 yr Kyle, I'm not sure right now, but hasn't it been a requirement to update the 744 before installing the 748? He wrote that his 744 is out of date.. On 10/4/2018 at 12:29 AM, QuacksterDuck said: My 744 is out of date, and that might be affecting it. But my 748 is up to date ,

The log shows that the updater isn't getting permission to write to your computer, which is a requirement for it to work. Something is preventing it from doing so: AV, download accelerator, improper configuration of some sort... 2 hours ago, Ephedrin said: Kyle, I'm not sure right now, but hasn't it been a requirement to update the 744 before installing the 748?
