December 11, 20187 yr I'm sorry but the parents could have been more creative naming their baby. I doubt this will be the last time she will be mocked. December 12, 20187 yr Moderator That is very true Jim. One of my cousins on mother's side was given the name PK (both capitals!) Surrency. When he went to volunteer for the Army, the recruiters gave him a very hard time about his first name. "How is it pronounced?" they asked him. "Just like it's written, PK" he replied. They gave him a choice of being listed as either "Pee Kay" or "Park Kay". He chose the latter. He told them "I'd rather folks thought was named for a stick of margarine than someone who had frequent accidents!" A surprising number of children are named for what was on the bedside table when the mother was struggling to think of a name. You'd be surprised at the number of boys with the name Ky (for KY Jelly of course). Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Imagine being named "Preparation H" <lastname> or "Rectify" <lastname> (another hemorrhoid medicine) Fr.
