yes, they published an update to fix the issue, now immersion manager is back, I have tested immersion747 for 1 hour, everything goes perfect

Where is this update to fix the issue, I am still having the corrupted download message problem and the immersion not appearing or working.

For those suffering from the Corrupt Download message, try uninstalling 747 Immersion (and 717 Immersion if you have it) and reinstall from VFXCentral. We will be coming with a fix in the first few days of January.

Immersion is also causing me minor issues as others have already stated. Is there still an update coming the first few days of January?

We published an update a day ago

Well I was flying the PMDG737 and I got an Immersion Manager.exe NTDLL.DLL error in AppCrashViewer. Says it stopped Working. P3D was fine and kept working. This happens all the time, even after my clean install. I even have it installed in the C:\ directory. Is there a log file I can look for?

Still having the issue with 747....  Unistalling, redownloading and reinstalling VFX Central did not solve the issue neither.  But the modification panel works for any other aircraft except 747...

I did get the notification, Thanks.   

Though it was an error, cause i restarted sim and i cant see any effect yet.    So decided to go flying.   I will test in about 12 hours... 😎🍻

I will perform uninstall / reinstall after finishing my flight.  Letting it update and restarting the sim did nothing....i have no effects at all... not even default contrails....

Will return with some feedback in a while

Sorry to undust...

After few flights with 744, ive noticed the issue is still there:

-  Using PMDG 748/748 When clicking the Immersion Manager Icon, it still say nothing (Open/ Disconnected/ MSG: Load the simulator with a supported aircraft)...   So no way to modify things...   Sometimes effects work well, sometimes no effects at all.  Is this normal?   Always say Disconnected.

- Sometimes the immersion manager is "Connected" and i can modify things.   Perhaps during some flights i have no effects at all and in order to restart contrails and other effects i start by  killing the Immersion manager, then clicking on EXE file again, and begin tuning settings and clicking save which helps recover effects back...   Some of those by clicking Off and on....

- Again, tested with B77W(which im flying now) and i have the same problem.   Manager is not connected, effects were not working and i kill the manager and restart again.  Miraculously effects came back but manager still say:  Disconnected...  Load supported aircraft...

Sometimes i can see effects option in the manager, sometimes are not there and seems to be disconnected.  Definitely a deep review is needed.  Note that ive unistalled and reinstalled VFX and still happening.

See IMG from PMDG 773 everything fully updated (VFX, 773), even reinstalled before this flight...  And still happening:

You can see a shot during takeoff, no effects, and manager not connected to a supported aircraft (Ok, lets blame weather condition, but no effects at all ever?).   But if you close/reopen it will work/get connected (sometimes), and modifying settings in it, you can get effects back on...

Also noticed that 747 options(while flying the 747 of course) are not present, all you get is the unistall button, and everything greyed out... no options.    I did try this with the B77W which in flying now, and surprise! appears the DIRECT INSTALL button in blue (Different from image above, during same flight), so....sometimes working, sometimes is not....  May be a "closing/opening things to get it work" side effect?...  mmm

I have to join the discussion, the immersion thing sometimes works, most of the time it doesn't, like now, took off, and then 15 min after, immersion CTDs. It happens more often than not. Restarting the program, it won't show any effects. It also crashes randomly even if it not used at all in the sim. Just my 2 cents.

I cannot use the manager if I start P3D exit and then start it again...
