FSX Demo rip-off

It's unfortunate that our loyalty and passion for this hobby was taken advantage of in the last few days. That was some serious money paid for nothing. I'd luv to know who is resposible.

You got ripped off because you were impatient... I am 95% at 300kb/sec from 3D Gamers, all I had to do was go have dinner instead of staring at a dumb counter. :-lolDaniel P.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpgMember of SJU Photography. You and only you. Nobody forced you to click on the Download link. Did you really think you were getting a final version demo?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

I never said I paid for the demo. I was fortunate enough to hum and haw for two hours, just long enough to see the link to downloaded from MS. Only took 10 min. I'm sure though that many spent hard earned money when they didn't need too and for those fellow flightsimmers I'm a little angry.

Ripped off? Everything was free... I am confused. I clicked a link on Microsoft, was prompted to download and 15 minutes later I was installing FSX Demo. I didn't pay 1 cent.

Angry about what?It was said several dozen times - in this forum alone - that the demo would almost certainly appear at other sites.Anyone not patient enough to wait has only themselves to blame.Nick

"It's unfortunate that our loyalty and passion for this hobbywas taken advantage of in the last few days. That was someserious money paid for nothing. I'd luv to know who isresposible." Huh? Responsible for what, making a demo and allowing gamespot to host it? Pllleeeeaaassssseeee"I'm sure though that many spent hard earned money when they didn't need too and for those fellow flightsimmers I'm a little angry.""I fail to see why it is your concern, it's their choice to spend a few bucks with gamestop (as many others have for all the other demos they provide)Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/ambanner.jpg

Why do people have to keep beating the original poster up even more just to make themselves look like they're in with the 'in crowd'? It's pathetic. Those last couple of posts weren't needed and you know it! Someone else told him before you that they thought he was a complete and utter social outcast because he made a simple, what turned out to be, wrong decision. Maybe he doesn't spend all his spare time outside of his working hours hunched in front of the Internet like hermit in a cave scouring Internet forums so he can remain constantly 'informed' of such things like you guys. Ok, he happened to make the wrong decision, but why does that anger people so much? Your posts beating him to death with a big, heavy 10 foot long baseball bat are the posts that #### me off if you want my honest opinion :-) So stop beating people up like this guys....it's so utterly pathetic.

Oh. I'm sorry. I thought original poster wanted to make his opinion known to world, and invite feedback on his thoughts. I guess I misunderstood what a forum was for.Nick

because the OP is quite out of line... He's just like the other kids who blame Microsoft (though usually using some deragatory name instead) for all the wrongs in the world just because it's "kewl".

Yes Nick...I'd call it feedback.Poster was dumb. No "ripoff" going on here.bt

Yep. Go back and read my response. That is 100% USDA prime feedback.Point is, if you start throwing around accusations of a "rip-off" on a public forum, expect a response. Especially if you're wrong.Nick
