Chance a used 1080Ti or go RTX 2070

Recommended Posts

I haven't completed a flight yet, still doing some testing....But...was flying the PMDG 737 at night, flew through a storm and managed to pull 30-40 on the ground at KCI and then 60 or so once I busted through the clouds....so far I'm pretty happy!

I went with an EVGA RTX 2080.  I didn't feel the 2080TI was worth the extra money.

Used 1080ti is a good value right now.  I just picked up a second one for under $500.  For the power they pack you can't beat that right now.

do you think the 2070ti when it is released will be superior to the 1080ti?

No, probaly little less performance in dx11 but stronger ray tracing

The 1080Ti seems like the best bang for buck but can anyone tell me if it that much better than my current ASUS GTX1070 with 8GB? $1000 Australian is a lot if the gains are only moderate.

Steve.
