depends on what's in the box for me.If it's just a fancy nice looking box and a world map as a wall poster, yet it costs twice as much, I for one can spend my money better...

I'll be buying the Deluxe version without hesitation. My guess for release? October 21st. That's the date FS2002 was released in 2001.James

The whole month of June without any news from ACES! Mike, you have 2 days to give away something fresh for us ;) You can start from explaining the differences of Standard vs Deluxe version before forums get flooded with guesses, rumors and conspiracy theories :) Cheers,

>I'll be buying the Deluxe version without hesitation.>>My guess for release? October 21st. That's the date FS2002 was>released in 2001.>>JamesJust to refresh your memory...it was only released late october due to a delay arising from the 9/11 disaster...it was actually scheduled and ready for release in september and was already gold at that point before they announced a holding delay which ceased around the time you mentioned. Typically in passed years its been released or gone gold ranging from late summer to shortly after the u.s. labor day holiday.Personally im very unsure of how early itll appear this time. I expect sometime between August and Novemeber...if the new dx-10 has no bearing on their coding at this point then i would expect and early release like aug/sept...but if dx-10 DOES cause some last minute problems as far as msfs then i would expect a much later release this time around..maybe late novemeber.Either way this time i wont be jumping on the bandwagon so fast...in fact i might just wait until i build a new dx-10/vista machine this time next year before i even purchase fsx.Dave

Maybe you haven't been reading the forum. The DX10 stuff is comming in the Vista patch, ie. next year.

Jason, anyone!One more day! :)Cheers,

One more day till what?

>One more day till what?Till the end of June. In my previous post I was talking about not having any updates for the whole month of June.

Well let me share something with you...I have two versions listed Deluxe and Standard...the MS SKU #s are 9AM-00014 and JH7-00044 respectively and will list at $69.95 and 49.95 US.Now here is the kicker..how does July 11th, 06, grab you for a release...Yanks you forget that July 4th is a holiday type season? :-)Now dont kill me if I am wrong but thats the date I got from most reliable source Will not get into differences of the versions and NO I am not a beta testerCheersBill

Uh-huh.And that 'most reliable' source would be?

That would be sweet, but it's hard to believe because they didn't tease us to death yet :) I'm not sure how much time does Beta-test take, and what follows it, but once it's over, MS can start production?Cheers,=S.V.=
