Yes but we don't know if the standard edition will get the DX10 patch? And maybe the deluxe patch will support 64bit?

Perhaps an extra dvd with scenery and mesh, i doubt it has anything to do with DX10 or 64 bit.

Does it really matter? I mean, would anyone of us freaks even consider buying the standard version? To save say 30 or 40 dollar to find out later you should have bought the deluxe version after all?Eric from Eham

There will be also one "Ultimate Edition" with the PMDG A320 and NGX, Active Sky 2007, Active Camera 2007, FSBuild 2007, RC5, 10m Mesh and VOZ textures for the entire world.Would be nice, now won't it? ;-)

Deluxe or Standard has no bearing on DX10 functionality.

Maybe the deluxe version has a second DVD with more detailed mesh, SDK, etc?

True though...most of us on this board will buy the Deluxe version site unseen...face it, thats who we are. You'll be standing in your store of choice holding both, the little voice in your head will say, "I know I'll regret it if I don't get the deluxe, screw it" as you put down the standard edition and walk to the counter with deluxe in hand.
