15th May update - Greek islands and Airbus Cadet Training Program

Featured Replies

Operations update 15th May -

Big week for us this week Captains! On Friday evening/early Saturday all being well, we will push the four videos which make up the Airport2Sim Greek Island Program onto the site for purchase.

It is longer and more in depth than Amsterdam, with greater emphasis on the approach and departure procedures and the many, many ‘threats’ to airline operations at these small challenging airports. Our real world 717/747 pilot Nick Collett is a hugely knowledgable operator and you will learn a huge amount from him during this program. Of course it comes with a trio of useful GSX configurations for Skiathos, Corfu and Samos. να περάσεις καλά, as they say in Greece - enjoy yourself!

Next up is something you’ve all been waiting for a long time. Well it’s happening. And it starts tomorrow. If you want to see the mayhem involved in trying to use Prepar3d as a film set, follow Airline2Sim on Instagram as real world Airbus driver James McDonald shows is how it’s really done as we visit airports all across Europe. We start tomorrow morning on the sunny island of Menorca. See you there. 😎

Not exactly sure what this means...are they starting to film tomorrow or are they releasing the Airbus product tomorrow?

It means we start to film tomorrow. Release will be later this year. Around end of summer if it goes well.

Great news Ben! Thank you so much for all the hard work. Your training series are an absolute pleasure to watch and I can't wait to fly to and from the Greek islands the right way ! Being Greek makes it even more exciting to watch ! Thank you !  🙂

OK, good to hear.

It would be better to finish 777 program, especially ETOPS part.

Just purchased! Looks great, but the download of video 001 seems to point at the 004 Samos Final? And I don't know where to get the GSX files?

I want to buy this latest product Nick, nut I loathe using PayPal due to their abysmal exchange rates. Is there a way to buy using my CC directly to your website?
