P3D Settings question

Is that something easy to do?  I have no idea how I would run P3d on my main cores and how to make the others run on threads.  Maybe Jetline Systems could help?

Not to be overly picky, but lets get our nomenclature straight..

If you have HT set to OFF on a quad CPU, all you have are four "main cores".. aka physical cores.

If you have HT set to ON, each physical core gets assigned two logical processors, or LPs which doubles the number of cores that Windows can assign work to, to eight.

With an AffinityMask of 85, P3D only uses one LP per physical core, leaving the other four LPs free for other work.

Threads are units of work, not the cores on which the threads execute..

I checked and it turns out that HT is off because my processor is a bit older and doesn't fully utilize HT.  He said it wouldn't make much of a difference if I turned it on

In that case, I would suggest not using the AffinityMask at all.

So, about the settings......

I use Flyinside for P3d V4.5, because it shows well in VR.  However, when I use native P3D, I don't get the VR effect as much ie. no real height sensation.

So, there is something in my P3D settings that is lacking which Flyinside does.  What is it I am not setting??!!
