What I mean is that there were always 5 continents in the past (which made far more sense). Europe may be a large political geographic area, but (in the classical sense) it really should not be classed as a separate continent. I can just about accept splitting North and South America into two (since Africa is also effectively connected to Asia), but Europe makes no sense at all.
