May 27, 20197 yr I'm thinking about getting the A350 from Flight Factor. I've flown their A320 a lot, but that's about it for my experience with their products. Also, I guess their A350 has been updated somewhat since original release. Any thoughts on how it presents itself? Pros? Cons? Sletvik, Thomas
May 27, 20197 yr They still haven't updated it so you can use SIDS and STARS, so if you can live with that, then it's a good addon. BTW. There are ways to import Sids/Stars, but I haven't used it for a loooong time, so please don't ask me how. 🙂 Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. May 27, 20197 yr Hi Nevian, I haven't flown it in a while. It was a nice flying bird and smooth. According to the .org it was updated 24 Apr 2019 and is on sale. One thing I like about the A350 is its general layout - a nice, well proportioned aircraft. Jim Morgan

Is that what you're thinking of? 17 minutes ago, jcjimmy said: According to the .org it was updated 24 Apr 2019 and is on sale. Where do you see that? On the .org page I can only see version 1.43 (February 10th 2017). Sletvik, Thomas
May 27, 20197 yr There is an internal java updater independent of the .org version. You need to have the product 12 hours before updating. May 28, 20197 yr What does that java updater do, and do you have a link for it? Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. May 28, 20197 yr They are updating it. Recently there was yet another update. Yet, in both simming platforms, MSFS and XP, I am yet to see an "external" FDM that behaves convincingly... Contrarily to what most think, I never really liked the feel of the Q-400 in FSX, nor do I like the FSLabs Airbuses in P3D, and although I see potential in this FF stuff, there are some quirks that made me opt for the Toliss A319. It comes to my mind one, very basic detail, that AFAIK is yet to be addressed... https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/160261-slip-beta-target-indications-reversed-on-engine-out-scenarios/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
May 28, 20197 yr It needs some workarounds to get the FMC fully functional, but a member of my VA has around 500+ hours in it and uses it for long hauls quite frequently. That said, FF have said that they plan to update the aircraft at some point in time with help from Toliss.
