It's really an almost-pointless guessing game to start troubleshooting without availing yourself of the available performance data. Understanding what subsystem(s) are being saturated enough to hit performance is often a critical first clue. Regards How do you do that? Do you use any special benchmark utility or just window's task manager? Thanks.

I wonder how much RAM do you have? Over 8GB cached should not be an issue at all if you have 16 or 32GB of RAM. However, the FPS loss after longer flights is also something I observe from time to time and I can not even think of anything that fills my 32GB RAM up that much. Will have an eye on the RAM usage the next time I observe lower FPS on approach, might be worth checking. June 19, 20196 yr And you also had reduced FPS upon arrival? If not, it seems to be only an issue for those with 8GB RAM... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

Think your right, 8GB might be borderline. This fix did in fact help on long flights and didn't reduce my FPS on approach.
June 21, 20196 yr One thing to be aware of, it can cause long frames every 5 mins, if you set it that way according to the YT video. I tested it and can confirm this. I run unlimited @30Hz Vsync on. Results may differ in different system.
