That's a great one. I liked the SkyHighSim version a lot and have used it regularly until now. It still holds up very well, considering that it is freeware by now. But I always hoped, that the original developer would come back and make a new version (He is working for orbx now).

So I was quite surprised when Digital Design announced the airport and I am really happy about it.

I remember going through hell to get SkyHighSim's version into p3d v4.  Digital Design's version looks like a nice upgrade. Thanks!

I just did a flight from LGKR to LYTV and I have to say this is one high-level skill level approach airport. On par with LOWI circuit to land 08

So RWY 14 it was by ATC.

TAZ 3,000

Turn onto a heading of 303

D3.9 from TIV turn onto a heading of 337 and at D4.0 from TIV start the turn.

Finally and WoW what a rewarding approach it is, Stunning airport and location, if you want a stunning airport and a challenge this is for you.

Blackbox was full of praise for LYTV in his stream yesterday, now I understand.....beautiful scenery, thanks for the screenshots David, guess that's definitely a keeper (as many DD sceneries)

I watched BB last night and like he said its a keeper, both approaches are jaw-dropping, you just cannot go wrong and its all done so well, I deleted the static aircraft, FPS is 120 in a default maule so its all good in every way will be using this airport a lot. 

Tonight it will be LIRF - LYTV 🙂

Oh dear, i wasn't really planning any additional scenery purchases this week apart from Pacsim's RKSI, but this one took me by surprise....and i guess i wont be able to resist, i'm way too weak for this hobby! 😄

I use OL Euro Alex and it all blends in very well. Seamlessly I would say.

Am sure Bubva comes with it. Not a good shot but you get glims here bottom right corner.

The approach looks great!

Tonight it was RWY 32 from a flight from LIRF.

So I set up a LOC FPA approach, made a small mistake I did not turn OFF my FD's but never mind.

Setting up the LOC FPA if you have very keen eys you can see I had set up the RO 158 for a missed approach.
