They are true, as they actually happened.   One thing I cannot BS about is my career because my potential employers have seen my posts on Avsim, which is why when I get carried away in a rant sometimes I appreciate the mods intervention, having been a mod here and knowing you volunteer I know the hardship you go thru to keep a free service afloat.  Avsim is all about spreading the news of simming--new products, simming tips and for some of us real life pilots, flying tips.  That's why I like to share my career insights sometimes, my tourism career taught me how to fly, and maybe even be a CFI someday--although seriously I do not feel I have the temperament to be a CFI, I could not even teach my poor wife how to drive.  I can teach in a place that is not moving, like a classroom, but only the Supreme Being, which is how I view driving instructors and CFI's, can teach someone in a moving object hurtling thru space either on the ground, in the air or above/under water.  My Dad--the greatest teacher ever, I do not grieve over him because I know he is always with me, he is my spiritual Shepard, in life and in his afterlife.

Oh of that I have no doubt. I have a very accurate and sensitive BS detector, the which has never even twitched...

I just could not pass up an opportunity to pass along what I fondly fancy as clever humor.

Yes it is, Kerosene was the fuel, it was an extra tank for extra distance:
