Double jetways at FSDT ORD

Featured Replies

I have double jetways at the new ORD and I think it is because my DD ORD didn’t fully uninstall.  My guess is there are still files left over from DD.  Since there is no uninstall,  how can I ensure everything is fully deleted from DD to avoid duplicate scenery?

Does DD provide customer support?

You should be able to delete his SODE files in the programdata\12bPilot\SODE folders.  He likes to encrypt his stuff so look in the \sdx subfolder.

Is that pretty complicated?  I’d hate to delete something I shouldn’t by mistake especially if it is encrypted

Any files and folders named DrzewieckiDesign associated with KORD can be deleted.

Where should I look for those?

I still have 2 towers overlapping each other and 2 Hilton signs on the hotel.  I removed anything that I could find with DD Chicago Airports, but also hesitated a bit since I run DD Chicago City X.  Could there be other files out there that I am missing?  Also, when I manually deleted the DD files, next time I loaded FSDT, I had no gates at all.

I also ran the FsDT updater and still have no jetways. Would an uninstall reinstall be good?

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE run SODEPlatformManager.exe make sure SODE is registered.

Reinstall FSDT KORD then run the updater again.

Make sure DD KORD is not listed or deactivated in the scenery library. Remove the DD KORD folder from the P3D Addon Scenery folder.

I did this and I am registered.

I did the unisinstall/reinstall and I still don't have any jetways.  I wonder what this issue could be.  I checked a different FSDT airport (DFW) I have installed and it had the jetways.

Thanks.  I took a look but still had no success. I went into the GSX customizer and saw that none of the jetways were selected.  It said "No jetway".  I thought, bingo!  I'll just select all the gates and from the drop down select "add jetway".  I did that and reloaded a new gate thinking it would need a refresh and still had nothing.  I restarted P3d and loaded back ORD and had nothing.  I haven't touched anything else other than removing files from DD when I had both DD and ORD jetways loading.  I'm stumped!!

If you still have the DD scenery installed/active (especially if it's layered above the FSDT scenery), it may well be that there's an exclude somewhere in the DD scenery that's boogering up your jetways on the FSDT scenery.

Several others have given you advice to disable or remove the DD scenery and see if that fixes it.  You might consider trying that.

Thanks.  I am stumped.  I am pretty certain I have taken the advice in this thread but am still not seeing them.  I posted on FSDT's forum so hopefully this is an easy fix and my user error that is at fault!  I don't see any DD ORD in my addon folder in the sim so I don't think it is active/installed.
